Partners recognized at CompTIA EMEA and Member Conference in London
LONDON – Eighteen organisations in the UK, Germany, Spain, Romania, Nigeria, and Sweden are the recipients of Partner of the Year awards presented by CompTIA, the nonprofit association for the global information technology (IT) industry and workforce.
CompTIA’s Partner Awards recognise CompTIA Authorised Partners that demonstrate an outstanding commitment to developing tech talent through offering CompTIA certifications and training to prepare students for careers in a range of technology fields such as IT infrastructure and cyber security. The awards were presented at the recent CompTIA EMEA Member and Partner Conference in London.
“It’s more important than ever to acknowledge those organisations who have shown great resilience and adaptability to the twists and turns of the past twenty months,” said Graham Hunter, CompTIA vice president for workforce development in EMEA, APAC and Canada. “We were excited to welcome so many people in person to our 2021 EMEA Member and Partner Conference and celebrate our partners success having sat through many hours of virtual events. The competition was tough, but 18 organisations were recognised, winning 20 awards in total.
“In addition to the awards that recognise our training providers we also recognised employers and organisations who are leading the way in upskilling existing employees and those supporting new entrants into the industry,” Hunter continued. “This year Computacenter were awarded the Outstanding Employee Talent Development Programme Award and Raytheon Professional Services were recognised for their contributions to Workforce Talent Development.”
