WASHINGTON, DC, June 19, 2019 – Government and technology leaders will highlight the economic and social benefits of widespread adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies at a panel discussion on Friday, June 21 hosted by the U.S. House of Representatives AI Caucus and the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA).
CompTIA research from earlier this year showed that business leaders expect AI to generate costs savings, handle basic repetitive tasks and enable the handling of large-scale data-intensive projects. Friday’s panel will focus on AI adoption and its economic and social benefits for businesses and communities around the nation.
House AI Caucus Chairs Rep. Jerry McNerney (D-CA) and Rep. Pete Olson (R-TX) will provide opening remarks prior to the expert panel discussion that will include Kevin Rusche, director of business development for Intel – AI Products Group; Dr. Parsa Mirhaji, MD, PhD, associate professor, systems and computational biology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Montefiore Medical Center; and Jimmy Pike, senior vice president, senior fellow for DellEMC.
