CompTIA is looking for IT professionals in the field of security to be involved in an Item Development Workshop for CompTIA’s Security+ assessment products.
The purpose of this Item Development workshop is to create and review item content (questions) for CompTIA’s Security+ assessments.
Assistance from subject matter experts (SMEs) is crucial in providing industry relevant certifications. Potential SMEs must have at least 5 years current experience in the field of information security. It is preferred that SMEs are Security+ certified (or equivalent/higher credential).
SMEs will receive a $400 a day stipend for the 5-day workshop, as well as meals provided during the 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. working days. Recognition for SMEs includes listing on the CompTIA website pending full participation in the program.
International SMEs (outside of North America) will receive an extra $100/ day stipend to help defer additional travel costs.
