Review the chart below to see the maximum number of CEUs you can earn for each qualifying activity during your three-year renewal cycle.

Work Experience

You can earn 3 CEUs per year during your renewal cycle for work experience related to your certification. Follow these requirements to earn and receive CEUs.

• Timing: The work experience must be completed during your three-year renewal cycle.
  Submission timeframe:
  • End of year 1 of CE 3-year cycle
  • End of year 2 of CE 3-year cycle
  • End of year 3 of CE 3-year cycle
• Relevance: At least 50 percent of the work you are performing must relate to one or more of the exam objectives for the certification you’re renewing.
• Documentation: To receive CEUs for your work experience, you will need to submit a letter from your employer on company letterhead containing the following information:
  1. Your name
  2. Current job title
  3. The Continuing Education (CE) year for which your work experience is being submitted
  4. Tasks you performed
  5. Signature of your supervisor
