Process for Hiring Graduates: a Two-Pathway Approach

As an employer partner in this program, you will have two options for hiring:

  • Direct full-time hire to fill open desktop support positions
  • Apprenticeship, where your new employees learn on the job, are mentored, and build a career path--and you become eligible for certain financial benefits, as well as additional support from CompTIA.

Both of these options will be explored once you submit the form indicating your interest in hiring tech talent through this program.

Pay it Forward: Reinvesting in the Next Round of Tech Training

And now perhaps the most unique and exciting part of this program! By participating, you are helping us reinvest in the next round of tech learners so that together we can break the cycle of recirculating existing tech talent and not having a deep enough pipeline of new tech talent. Employers will pay $5,000 per employee hired through this program. 100% of this payment will be reinvested to train the next group of learners by CompTIA.

I always had an interest in technology, so when CompTIA classes were offered, I knew I had to enroll. CompTIA ended up being more than a certification. It was just the beginning. They are dedicated to helping you transition from just a job to a career in IT.

My Ling Nguyen

The support that I received from CompTIA was amazing. They helped me with writing my resume, provided me with job recommendations and set up mock interviews with some of their partner companies. They also recommended putting language skills in my CV, which helped me to get my new job as a bilingual support engineer.

Pablo Contreras

It takes forever to get a degree and plus lots of money, so getting the certificate is going to enable me to start my career in the IT field and computer field and just kind of jumpstart everything.

Tristan Hayes

It allowed me to tap into resources that otherwise I may not have been able to easily do. It also helped lead me into an amazing apprenticeship. I will be forever grateful.

Nicole Sain

The hands-on and troubleshooting training was immense, but it’s the soft skills training that makes the program second to none. The skills I learned during [the program] would have cost me a lot of money if I had gone elsewhere.
