The Enterprise Mobility Solutions division of Motorola Inc. (Booth #504) added to its mobile computing portfolio with the ES400 global Enterprise Digital Assistant (EDA). The ES400’s integrated voice and data capabilities empower mobile professionals with the information and interaction they need to transform operations, increase enterprise profitability and complete their jobs anywhere, anytime. Built on the Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.5 platform, the ES400 EDA enables workers in field service, field sales, retail, healthcare, utilities, manufacturing, transportation/distribution and small- and medium-sized businesses to collect data and access business-critical applications and back-end systems on the spot.

Motive Systems, (Booth #1222) the developer of M-Files easy document management software, is launching a comprehensive channel program aimed at VARs and MSPs that focus on business solutions for SMBs. The program enables channel partners to effectively market and service M-Files in conjunction with a reseller’s existing product portfolio, generally as a highly complementary offering to existing software and hardware solutions. The company has been actively coordinating integration projects to offer targeted solutions to channel partners carrying complementary solutions such as SAGE Software, Microsoft Dynamics and Intuit QuickBooks, and hardware devices such as scanners and multi-function printers.

Digital Gateway’s (Booth #101 in the MPS Pavilion) dealer management software e-automate is now available as a hosted, Software As A Service solution.  It can automate each step of the managed print services or CPP/CPC contract lifecycle while only requiring a PC with an Internet connection and a low monthly subscription.  As a special feature, the online purchasing integration to supplies and parts distributors empowers dealers to substantially optimize their purchasing processes. 

Channel Services Group’s (CSG) (Booth #409) BLUEROADS released 6.9.8 of its Partner Opportunity Management system to give partners the advantage of social media integration and click-to-chat communication for advanced sales intelligence. It contains Linkedin integrations for partners and vendors to leverage Linkedin knowledge of prospect companies and access to contact information. With the feature, partners have the visibility into shared networks to help increase partner sales closure rates.

Autentik Solutions (Booth #816 in the IT Security Pavilion) is introducing AuthentikTime, an easy-to-use, easy-to-implement method of time and attendance. It's a creative way to engage your customers and prospects in a part of their business that is often taken for granted and one that can be very costly.

Spring Medical Systems (Booth #86) has a Breakaway special offer for VARs to join its VAR Program for SpringCharts EHR, which claims to be the most affordable and easiest to use, certified EHR on the market today.  For VARs signing up at Breakaway, the sign-up fee has been discounted by 20 percent to just $795.  This includes registration and one connection to the VAR training class. 

Axcient Inc. (Booth #903) completed its Series B funding of $9 million led by Thomvest Ventures. Axcient combines the key elements of data protection—backup, continuity, and disaster recovery—in a single unified platform offered as a monthly service. The Series B funding will give Axcient the resources to continue its mission of delivering comprehensive data protection and business continuity service for the SMB market and will enable them to scale its operations so that it can provide higher levels of service to its customers.

The new Cristina Network and its automated donation management platform are in the final stages of development by the National Cristina Foundation (located in the Industry Partner Pavilion).
