Calyptix Security released its Beta version of its “Single Pane of Glass” management platform, dubbed SPS v1.0, at Breakaway.  The SPS will provide a platform for IT professionals and managed service providers to centrally manage all networks that use an AccessEnforcer firewall security appliance without any new hardware, software or integration.  SPS is a cloud-based service offering that will deliver immediate visibility, security, management and alerting across all its networks.  IT professionals can achieve greater efficiencies, add new security and management services and improve customer service levels with minimal effort, training or investment.

Autotask Corp., a provider of hosted IT business management software, and Intronis, an online backup and recovery solution, teamed up to offer the IT channel a seamless integrated solution to better support and manage their end-clients’ IT infrastructure. The integration allows partners to use the Autotask platform to more easily manage and resolve Intronis alerts and notifications while streamlining and automating managed services providers’ online backup business. Solution providers interested in learning more about the integration, and how they can build their own managed services business, can register to attend one of Autotask’s 15-city Community on Tour events, sponsored by Intronis.

Additionally, the program’s international footprint experienced 80 percent growth, adding new partners in EMEA, APAC and Latin American regions. Among the newest partners signed to the program is Manage Protect, an Australian services distributor committed to making email and the Internet a secure, safe, compliant and productive environment for business.

Launched in June 2010, the partner program makes it easy for service distributors, managed service providers, systems integrators and value-added resellers to quickly add “insider threat” solutions delivered as a service to their offerings.
