Washington, D.C. – CompTIA, the leading technology industry association, announced today that International Government and Regulatory Affairs Director Stefanie Holland has been appointed to the Department of Commerce Industry Trade Advisory Committee on Digital Economy (ITAC 8).
In this role, Holland will advise the Secretary of Commerce and the U.S. Trade Representative on trade policy positions through detailed and technical advice, information, and recommendations regarding trade barriers and negotiations on behalf of CompTIA members and the U.S. information technology industry. Holland will serve on the ITAC 8 for the duration of the committee's four-year charter term, which expires in 2022.

Holland has also been selected to serve as an associate member of the National Association of District Export Councils (NADEC), which represents 61 District Export Councils across the country. She also sits on the Virginia-DC District Export Council. These appointments allow Holland to best serve CompTIA members, CompTIA’s state technology council partners, and the industry’s interests.
At CompTIA, Holland is responsible for the development, advocacy, and implementation of CompTIA’s policy positions with respect to international trade and the global digital economy. She works with CompTIA member companies to identify and manage trade issues in the U.S., China, India, the UK and other markets. Holland is an Executive Committee member of the United States Information Technology Office (USITO), representing CompTIA in her capacity. She also represents CompTIA members at multilateral and international institutions.
Prior to CompTIA, Holland was the Director for International Policy at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. While at the Chamber from 2007-2016, Holland worked on successful campaigns to win congressional passage of trade agreements and played a key role in the Chamber’s international business priorities and promoting the Chamber’s international trade agenda including Trade Promotion Authority (TPA), reauthorization of the Export-Import Bank, among others. Prior to joining the Chamber, Holland worked at Barbour Griffith & Rogers (BGR), in its international practice.
Holland served as President for the organization Women in International Trade (WIIT) from 2015-2016 and previously served on its Board of Directors and as co-chair for its Legislative Initiatives Committee.
