WASHINGTON - CompTIA, the Computing Technology Industry Association, has named Geoff Lane as senior policy manager of government affairs. In his role, he will be responsible for the tax policy portfolio. Lane was most recently the U.S. policy and government relations director at the App Developers Alliance.
Prior to his position at the App Developer Alliance, Geoff served on the government affairs team at the Information Technology Industry Council and worked on Capitol Hill for Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Lane studied at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and at George Washington University.
