CompTIA Names 15 Tech Industry Leaders to Advisory Councils Executive Board

Mar 7, 2019

Downers Grove, Ill. – CompTIA, the leading trade association for the global technology industry, said today that 15 executives representing companies on the leading edge of new and emerging technologies will serve on its Advisory Councils Executive Board in 2019.

The executive board is comprised of the chairs and vice chairs of CompTIA’s five industry advisory councils: Blockchain, Business Applications, Channel, Drone and Smart Cities.

“These advisory councils represent specific industry segments, each with their own unique opportunities and challenges,” said Annette Taber, vice president for industry outreach at CompTIA. “At the same time, the interactions between these markets are becoming more frequent and the impact is felt across the wider technology ecosystem.

“CompTIA is uniquely positioned to bring together leaders from a wide range of disciplines, technologies, business models and markets to collaboratively address the critical issues and growth opportunities that will shape our industry today, and in the years to come,” Taber concluded.

The following technology industry representatives are serving on the CompTIA Advisory Councils Executive Board this year.
