Paul Wan

Paul Wan is a cybersecurity and AI advisor, executive coach, and trainer working at the intersection of technology, governance, and leadership development across Asia.

With 36 years in banking and technology, Paul most recently served as Managing Director and Regional Head of Asia Transformation at Standard Chartered Bank, concluding that role in January 2026 after leading enterprise-wide programmes spanning regulatory compliance, data governance, cybersecurity, and technology transformation.

He continues to shape the region's cybersecurity agenda as a Council Member of the Hong Kong Computer Society, where he serves as Director, Digital Leadership & Professional Development, promoting and running the Chief Information Security Officer Board (CISOB). He has also served as an Alternate Board Director of Hong Kong interbank clearing entities.

Paul is an ICF Certified Coach and is currently pursuing CompTIA SecAI+. His driving passion today is nurturing Hong Kong's future leaders to see technology — and AI in particular — as a critical, non-negotiable element of their career development.
