Trends in Managed Services 2011

End user organizations that react more favorably to concepts of outsourcing, automation and offshoring are more likely to be involved in some kind of managed services arrangement for some or all of their technology needs. This five-part report provides an understanding of key trends in the managed services provider space.

The study finds that organizations that rely on managed services providers for some or all of their information technology (IT) needs are reaping significant annual costs savings. The channel perspective supports this finding. A full 15 percent of companies offering managed services at the time of the survey reaped more than 75 percent of their revenue from these contractual services last year.
