State of the IT Skills Gap

Our State of the IT Skills Gap study offers a better understanding of in demand skills and identifies existing or upcoming shortages in IT skills.

According to our own study, eight in ten organizations say gaps in the skill sets of their IT staff are impacting business operations. These companies highlighted a lack of training resources and the ever-changing landscape of IT as the biggest factors contributing to the skills gap. With workers coming up short in existing core areas, like security and data storage, as well as emerging areas, like business process automation and mobility, businesses are looking to address skills gap challenges through training. By identifying in demand skills and shortcomings in IT, this study aims to help companies maximize their technology investments while reducing the negative impact the skills gap is having on business operations.
