Incorporating a Statement of Work

This document explains the concept of a Statement of Work within a contract or business agreement. A Statement of Work (also sometimes called a Scope of Work) is the part of a contract that states what is and isn’t expected of the contracted party. It’s also the center of a lot of disputes because people often don’t pay close enough attention to this section in production or negotiation. This document aims to educate our members on when and where a Statement of Work should be included and what it should contain.
