Snapshot of the Education Market
The market for technology in the education sector is large and always growing. This guide will be limited to schools ranging from kindergarten to 12th grade, covering both private and public schools. The education vertical shares an awful lot in common with other public-sector verticals, unsurprisingly, since it is essentially a function of government. That means disparate stakeholders with a generally hierarchical structure, strong institutional preferences and rigid budgeting, and procurement structures. All in all, it’s an intimidating vertical. But, like all verticals, with some preparation and the proper approach, it’s full of profitable opportunities.
