Anti-Corruption and Bribery Policy - UK

This is an anti-corruption and bribery policy designed to assist employers in complying with the Bribery Act 2010, which came into force on 1 July 2011.

The Bribery Act 2010 covers general bribery offences including bribing another person, and being bribed. It also covers the bribery of foreign public officials, failure of commercial organisations to prevent bribery, and the prosecution and penalties associated with bribery. This policy was put together to help businesses comply with the bribery act and includes policy on record keeping, what is and isn’t acceptable in terms of gifts and hospitality, and certain red flags employees should look out for. This policy can be tweaked to better fit your business or industry.
