This annual research initiative seeks to gain and share insights from state and local HHS thought leaders relative to agency IT issues, challenges, trends, and perspectives. The results are being shared nationally for the benefit of HHS agencies and to raise visibility of how agencies are addressing those challenges.
The survey, first conducted in 2016, focuses on major areas of research. These major areas have been narrowed to four this year as the dynamically changing environment of HHS technology necessitated agility in the survey questions and subjects. This year’s four major areas of research include:
- Service Delivery Modernization
- Emerging Trends and Technologies
- Policy Initiatives
