Investor and author Deborah Meaden set to deliver keynote at CompTIA EMEA Member and Partner Conference 2024

Jul 18, 2024

Annual technology gathering set for 21-22 October in London

LONDON – Business leader, author and “Dragons’ Den” investor Deborah Meaden will share her inspiring and motivating message when she delivers the keynote address at the 2024 edition of CompTIA’s EMEA Member and Partner Conference, the nonprofit association for the information technology (IT) community and workforce, announced today.

CompTIA’s EMEA Member and Partner Conference features robust education programming for two distinct audiences – executives and leaders from IT channel companies, and professionals at the forefront of educating and training current and future technology professionals.

This year’s conference is set for 21-22 October at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge in London. Event information and registration is available here.

“We bring together technology leaders and professionals for engaging sessions and presentations and valuable networking with peers and partners from throughout the EMEA region,” said MJ Shoer, chief community officer of CompTIA. “We’re very much looking forward to hearing from Deborah Meaden, who has a reputation as a future-minded business leader, philanthropist and environmental champion, and to exploring the future of the technology industry and its workforce.”

Meaden, who joined the investment reality TV programme “Dragons’ Den” in 2006, supports ethical, fair practice in business and in life.

Since 2022, Meaden has co-hosted “The Big Green Money Show” with Felicity Hannah, looking at company impact on the planet and how sustainability can be viewed as an opportunity or an inconvenience. In 2023, her book “Why Money Matters” was published as an accessible guide to the world of money for 6- to 9-year-olds. The book became an instant bestseller.

Her latest book, “Talks Money,” was published in June. It is an empowering introduction to money and finance for 12- to 16-year-olds and became an instant bestseller.

More details on the CompTIA EMEA Member and Partner Conference, including the full agenda, featured speakers and exhibitors will be released in the coming weeks at https://connect.comptia.org/emea.
