CompTIA is offering A+ Certification Training as a 17-week live instructor-led online training, for unemployed and underemployed Florida residents, that covers a technical computer curriculum geared toward the CompTIA A+ certification. In this package, valued at over $5,000, students also learn professional skills to ensure their long-term career success.

Do You Qualify?

Unemployed or underemployed Florida residents, age 18 and older, who are not currently enrolled in high school, and are eligible to work in the US, can apply for this free, comprehensive training program. A Wonderlic assessment may be required and a video interview is required.

Online Assessment

After you submit your application form, keep an eye on your inbox! We may ask you to complete a brief Wonderlic assessment. You can get a feel for what that may look and feel like by using this practice test! This quick, 12 minute assessment helps gauge aptitude, basic comprehension, and general problem-solving abilities.

Video Interview

Be on the lookout for an email inviting you to interview! You’ll get a couple of email communications from our admissions team asking you to complete the next steps so we can get to know you better. We’ll ask you to complete a brief text and recorded video-based interview on the VidCruiter platform. This will take as little as 30 minutes. We want to hear why you're interested in tech and how the CompTIA A+ and this program can help you achieve your goals!

Review

Next, you will need to provide documentation to demonstrate your eligibility to Clark University. Then you can sit back and relax while members of the admissions team review your interview and documents. This review process will typically take between 1-3 business days. We’re excited to hear about your interest in the program and discover how we can help you advance in the IT industry and get started on your road to IT success.

Acceptance

Get excited! After admissions decides that the program is a great fit for your needs, you’ll get an email from the CompTIA Custom Training team to let you know that you’re confirmed for a spot in the training program. You’ll be informed of class details and be given the opportunity to accept your spot. Make sure you’re looking for and following up on our email communications. Due to class size and demand, we operate on a first come, first served basis. We’re looking forward to having you in our class so go ahead and submit your application form and start the process as soon as you’re ready!
