CompTIA Federal Procurement Council Kickoff Meeting

Technological development continues to increase at a steady rate with new products and services entering the marketplace on a perpetual basis. Often, these new technologies have the ability to provide the end user financial efficiencies and, on a macro scale, a global competitive advantage against other nations.

As the federal government’s IT requirements are increasingly weighted towards emerging technologies, it’s critically important that industry and government, working collectively, have a process in place to help onboard technologies in a more expeditious fashion.

The CompTIA Federal Procurement Council will work closely with federal agencies, Congress, and the Administration to help define, outline, and implement a forward-leaning, IT-focused modernized acquisition framework that promotes emerging technology adoption.

This meeting will be the official kickoff meeting of the CompTIA Federal Procurement Council.
