Cam Wayland is a senior manager with over 30 years sales channel development and management experience across both the IT and Telecommunications industries with companies such as SingTel Optus, Tech Pacific, Sirius Technologies, NetComm Limited and now Channel Dynamics.
Cam co-founded Channel Dynamics in 2004, a specialist channel training and consulting company with his business partner Moheb Moses, who is also senior channel professional, to help ICT companies improve their channel sales and marketing programs, processes and people skills.
Over the last 12 years at Channel Dynamics Cam has worked with leading vendors and distributors including Cisco, IBM, Adobe, NEC, Brother, EMC, VMware, Telstra, Ingram Micro etc to improve their current channel model or programs, as well as coaching start ups around how to most effectively build a channel from the ground up.
Having worked for vendors, distribution and also as a reseller over his career with responsibility for sales and marketing teams targeting SMB, major retail chains, education, as well as large corporations and government departments, has provided the practical experience that is reflected in Channel Dynamics pragmatic training and consulting methodologies.
Cam specialises in channel strategy consulting, developing channel performance metrics, account planning, optimising channel structures, distribution logistics and operational reviews. As a result he is a regular contributor to leading industry publications ARN and CRN, where his views are widely sought regarding best practice channel strategy especially in relation to the move to Cloud computing and XaaS offerings.
Cam holds a Graduate Diploma in Change Management and an Executive Management Certificate from the Australian Graduate School of Management, as well as a Certificate in Strategic Management from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management.
