Updated course adds advanced Microsoft 365 skills aligned to employer needs
DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. – As employers accelerate investments in digital transformation and artificial intelligence (AI) tools, CompTIA has launched Microsoft Office Pro V9, an updated learning solution designed to help learners develop the digital fluency, workplace productivity and AI readiness.

New in V9 are advanced Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel modules aligned with Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Word Expert and Excel Expert certification objectives. These additions help learners strengthen document creation, data analysis and productivity skills commonly required across a wide range of job roles.
Multiple competency assessments included in the course allow learners to validate their skills through a CompTIA CompCert (Competency Certificate) to demonstrate proven proficiency rather than simply completing coursework. Practice exams and course content aligned with MOS certification objectives are also included for those seeking additional credentials.
Microsoft Office Pro V9 is available to schools, workforce development programs, training providers and organizations seeking to strengthen digital and AI-related workforce capabilities. CompTIA Microsoft Word Pro V3 offers learners nearly 30 hours of instruction to gain practical experience creating professional documents; applying advanced formatting and design features; managing references and document structure; collaborating with others; and leveraging productivity tools such as mail merge, forms, fields and macros.
CompTIA Microsoft Excel Pro V3 is a comprehensive training course on practical spreadsheet and data analysis skills; including how to create and manage workbooks, work with formulas and functions, analyze and visualize data, and use advanced Excel features.
