CompTIA Learner Code of Conduct

Statement of policy

CompTIA is committed to equal treatment and opportunity for its Learners; to maintaining an environment that is free of bias, prejudice, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.

To whom this policy applies

This policy applies to all Learners enrolled in a CompTIA course.

Prohibited conduct

  1. Engaging in or threatening to engage in behavior(s) that endanger or compromise the health, safety or well-being of any Learner or faculty.

  2. Physically or verbally harassing, intimidating, or threating another individual or group.

  3. Physical violence, actual or threatened, against any individual or group of persons.

  4. Behaviors that interfere with an educational activity (e.g., remote or online learning environments, advising session, lecture, workshop). Including but not limited to 1) sending unsolicited emails or communications to Learners, trainers, or staff that do not serve a related educational or career purpose and 2) exhibiting nudity on camera.

  5. Activities that infringe on CompTIA’s intellectual property, including but not limited to copying, distributing, and reselling CompTIA course materials.

Consequences

Failure to abide by CompTIA’s Learner Code of Conduct could result in expulsion from the course. Individuals who are expelled due to a violation of this policy will not receive any refund. Furthermore, CompTIA has the discretion to bar said individual from attending other CompTIA courses and events.
