CompTIA is looking for data or IT professionals who have current experience working in the data science field to be involved in a Job Task Analysis workshop for a DataAI certification exam.
During the Job Task Analysis, SMEs will identify areas of competence required for the Server+ exam to ensure that the examination objectives are relevant to the job skills and activities of the target audience.
Assistance from SMEs is crucial in providing industry relevant certifications. Potential SMEs must have at least 5 years of experience working in a data engineering or data scientist role, with experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Database systems (SQL and NoSQL), data warehousing solutions, ETL tools, machine learning, and/or data APIs
- Python, Java, and Scala programming languages
- Distributed systems (basics of)
- Algorithms and data structures
In recognition of their contributions, all SMEs who participate in the entire Job Task Analysis workshop will have their names and companies (if provided) listed on the CompTIA website.
*International SMEs will instead receive $540/day stipend ($2,700 total) to help defer additional travel costs.
*International SMEs are those who live outside of the US, Mexico, Canada or Puerto Rico.

Only professionals currently working in one of the above fields should apply. Although CompTIA appreciates interest from the training community, applications from trainers/teachers, authors, or individuals who may profit or materially benefit from knowledge of the CompTIA credential content are not eligible to participate.
