A View from the Customers
Beginning in 2016, CompTIA has rounded out the councils' feedback cycle through the establishment of the newly-formed End User Commission.
While the panel's members manage, or influence the purchase of, IT solutions, they are employed by organizations outside of the IT industry, and represent a wide variety of vertical markets and organizational sizes. Their input provides a demand-side feedback that cannot be delivered through CompTIA's industry advisory councils.
In addition to the key subjects impacting the IT industry, members of the End User Commission are uniquely positioned for observations on sales strategies used by the vendors, distributors and channel partners, and how those strategies impact the end users' processes and purchase decisions.
