Michael is a seasoned business professional with extensive experience in how technology impacts business and provides a foundation for organizations to operate productively and profitably. His career began back in high school where he wrote spreadsheet software to help teachers keep track of student grades, Next, it was on to the foodservice industry, where he introduced technology to better control food cost and labour and let his restaurants to exceed industry standards in both operational efficiency and profit. 8 years ago, Michael, moved into the direct IT sector when he joined Rational in a sales role. He quickly moved into the position of Director of Sales and Service where he took over management of both departments. In his current position, Michael has had the opportunity to work with all players in the IT sector, end users, distributors and application providers. He has solidified relationships with key industry contacts and has moved his organization forward by creating strong partnerships with his customers and providers. His keen business sense along with his passion for the industry make him a great nominee for the CompTIA Canadian Committee Executive Council.
