Some of us were born to sell, and Dave Goldie has been mastering the craft since he was selling Sears catalogue subscriptions at the age of 11! Goldie honed his craft in an era when sales was done the hard way, with a phone, a notepad and yellow pages brimming with opportunity. While working in recruitment, Goldie realized that selling was his gift, and since that point he has refined his talent for persuasion. Goldie appreciates that behind great sales is great science: metrics, data analysis, and strategic processes, all married with creative communication to drive results. The true measure of sales success is revenue growth, and Goldie has been contributing to the growth of companies for over 15 years. He has cultivated his role as a sales leader over the course of a career that has taken him to roles at Flight Centre, Vancouver Film School, the Art Institute of Vancouver, Randstad and Allied International Credit. Goldie is presently a member of the #GlueCrew, as the VP of Channel at IT Glue, where he continues to build relationships that lead to strong growth.
