CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+) Experts Needed

CompTIA is looking for IT professionals who have extensive experience working in enterprise level security management to be involved in a virtual Item Writing Workshop for the CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+) Certification exam.

The Item Writing workshop is the phase of exam development used to create, develop, and review text-based item content.

Assistance from subject matter experts (SMEs) is crucial in providing an industry relevant exam. Potential SMEs must have at least 8 years of experience working in enterprise level security management. It is preferred that SMEs are CASP+ certified (or hold an equivalent/higher credential).

SMEs who attend the workshop will receive:

  • An honorarium of $200 per day (or $1000 total for the week), pending adequate level of participation
  • 40 continuing education credits (CEUs)
  • A complimentary CompTIA testing voucher for the exam of his/her choice

In recognition of their contributions, all SMEs who participate in the entire virtual Item Writing workshop will have their names and companies (if provided) listed on the CompTIA website.

When: November 2-6, 2020
Where: Virtual Workshop
