CompTIA is looking for IT professionals in the field of cybersecurity to be involved in a virtual Item Development Workshop for CompTIA’s Cybersecurity Analyst+ assessment products.
The purpose of this Item Development workshop is to create and review item content (questions) for CompTIA’s Cybersecurity Analyst+ (CySA+) assessments.
Assistance from subject matter experts (SMEs) is crucial in providing industry relevant certifications. Potential SMEs must have at least 5 years of experience working in one or more of the following IT security fields: data analysis and response, risk management, penetration testing, compliance and auditing, and incident response including attack identification. Certifications in these areas are desired but not required. It is preferred that potential candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in one of these fields, are Security+ certified, or hold equivalent or higher credentials.

In recognition of their contributions, all SMEs who participate in the entire virtual Item Writing workshop will have their names and companies (if provided) listed on the CompTIA website.

Although CompTIA appreciates interest from the training community, applications from trainers, authors, or individuals who may profit or materially benefit from knowledge of the CompTIA credential content are not eligible to participate.
