CompTIA is looking for IT professionals with a strong technical background to be involved in an Item Development Workshop for CompTIA’s A+ assessment products.
The purpose of this Item Development workshop is to create and review item content (questions) for CompTIA’s A+ assessments.
Assistance from subject matter experts (SMEs) is crucial in providing industry relevant certifications. Potential SMEs must have 5 years total experience with 2 years of current experience in supporting and troubleshooting a variety of computing devices and operating systems including Microsoft Windows, Linux, Mac OSX, Android or IOS It is preferred that SMEs are A+ certified (or equivalent/higher credential).
SMEs will receive a $400 a day stipend for the 5-day workshop, as well as meals provided during the 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. working days. Recognition for SMEs includes listing on the CompTIA website pending full participation in the program.
International SMEs (outside of North America) will receive an extra $100/ day stipend to help defer additional travel costs.

Although CompTIA appreciates interest from the training community, applications from trainers, authors, or individuals who may profit or materially benefit from knowledge of the CompTIA credential content are not eligible to participate.
