CompTIA is looking for IT professionals who have current experience working in the information security field to be involved in an Item Writing Workshop for the CompTIA Security+ Certification exam.
The purpose of this Item Writing workshop is to create and review item content (questions) for CompTIA’s Security+ certification.
Assistance from subject matter experts (SMEs) is crucial in providing industry relevant certifications. Potential SMEs must be currently working in the field of information security and have at least 5 years of experience. It is preferred that SMEs are Security+ certified (or hold an equivalent/higher credential).

In recognition of their contributions, all SMEs who participate in the entire Item Writing workshop will have their names and companies (if provided) listed on the CompTIA website.

Only professionals currently working in the field of information security should apply. Although CompTIA appreciates interest from the training community, applications from trainers/teachers, authors, or individuals who may profit or materially benefit from knowledge of the CompTIA credential content are not eligible to participate.
