CompTIA is looking for data or IT professionals who have current experience working in the data science field to be involved in a Job Task Analysis workshop for a Data Science certification exam.
During the Job Task Analysis, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) will identify areas of competence required for the Data Science exam to ensure that the examination objectives are relevant to job roles and activities for the target audience.
Assistance from SMEs is crucial in providing industry relevant certifications. Potential SMEs must have at least 5 years of experience working in a data engineering or data scientist role, with experience in one or more of the following areas:
SMEs who attend the workshop will receive:
In recognition of their contributions, all SMEs who participate in the entire Job Task Analysis workshop will have their names and companies (if provided) listed on the CompTIA website.
*International SMEs will instead receive $500/day stipend ($2,500 total) to help defer additional travel costs.
Based on changing state and government guidelines/requirements, vaccination is currently not required for workshop participants.
