The CARES Act and IT Modernization: A Small Business Perspective

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has been one of the agencies active in using IT working capital funds under the Modernizing Government Technology Act. Once Congress authorizes a fund, agency CIOs can save any unspent IT budget for modernization projects. The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) has also been at the forefront of IT modernization efforts. Hear from SBA and DOL tech leaders about how the agencies have handled IT modernization efforts supporting citizen services throughout the continuing COVID pandemic.
