Honor recognizes member who has demonstrated superior engagement with the association

Downers Grove, Ill. – The deadline for nominations for the CompTIA Member of the Year Award is fast approaching, the world’s leading technology association said today.

Nominations are being accepted through Monday, May 15. The winner will be recognized at ChannelCon 2018, the industry’s premier annual education, networking and partnering event, scheduled for July 31 through August 2 in Washington, D.C.

Now in its third year, the CompTIA Member of the Year Award recognizes a single member who, in the past 12 months, has demonstrated outstanding service to the association and had an impact on the industry through his or her commitment, passion, professionalism, and leadership. It is the most prestigious acknowledgment that CompTIA members can bestow on one of their own.

To be eligible for the award, nominees must be a current CompTIA Premier Member in good standing with the association, with a membership that’s been in place for a minimum of one year. Also, they must be able to attend the ceremony at ChannelCon 2018 in Washington D.C.

A committee of CompTIA members will evaluate the nominees and select a single winner. Selection committee members include Mike Semel, Semel Consulting LLC; Charles Love, Mailprotector; Jeff Ponts, CloudMSP; Floyd Henson, Veytec Inc.; Gordon Pelosse, Hewlett Packard Enterprise; Tracy Pound, MaximITy; John Tippett, Datto Inc.; Randolph Carnegie, Ken-Kor Consulting, Inc.; and Kristian Wright, Inbay Ltd.
