Oct 27, 2016

Downers Grove, Ill. — This fall CompTIA’s Advancing Women in Technology (AWIT) Community will help information technology (IT) professionals bolster their resumes in three steps, starting with a webinar on November 9.

“From a webinar to professional feedback on individual resumes, our AWIT members will help IT professionals take the next step in their careers,” said Cathy Alper, director, member communities, industry relations, CompTIA.

  • Attend an Educational Webinar: Resumes 2017: Telling Your Story and Getting the Job

Resumes 2017, presented by Jeff Lareau and Nicole Maseberg of CompTIA’s Creating IT Futures Foundation on November 9 at Noon CT, explores what is new and emerging in technical resumes and crucial elements for resumes today. Attendees will learn the importance of applicant tracking systems, the golden zone of the resume, what is different in an IT resume, the role LinkedIn plays in the process and when to use an infographic or video resume.
