Broadband services and technology leader ViaSat joins Space Enterprise Council; software leader Compuware signs on to State and Local Government and Education Council
Downers Grove, Ill. – CompTIA, the nonprofit association for the technology industry, today welcomed two prominent organizations as the newest members of its Public Sector Councils.
Compuware, a leading provider of mainframe-dedicated software to the world’s largest companies, has joined the CompTIA State and Local Government and Education Council.
“As a trusted partner to public sector agencies across the United States with experience partnering with public sector CIOs, Compuware brings added insight and expertise to SLED with its thorough understanding of citizen demand of government IT services,” said Peter Kaminskas, vice president, member relations, CompTIA.
Joining the CompTIA Space Enterprise Council is ViaSat Inc. (NASDAQ: VSAT), a global broadband services and technology company.
“Nearly every government agency depends on digital communications and data protection to meet its mission,” Kaminskas said. “ViaSat brings valuable experience to our council as we work to ensure the U.S. continues to be a leader in the space marketplace.”
