Iconic Super Bowl Quarterback and Five Time NFL MVP Headlines All-Star Speaker Lineup

Downers Grove, Ill. – Peyton Manning, the five-time NFL Most Valuable Player and a two-time Super Bowl champion, will deliver the conference keynote speech at ChannelCon 2016, nonprofit technology industry association CompTIA announced today.

Manning, who led the Denver Broncos to victory in Super Bowl 50 last February, is set to inspire an audience of channel partners, vendors and industry influencers at ChannelCon 2016, which takes place August 1-3 at The Diplomat Resort & Spa in Hollywood, Fla.

“Having Peyton Manning keynote ChannelCon 2016 is an industry touchdown everyone will be talking about and hundreds will see come to life on the main stage,” said Kelly Ricker, senior vice president, events and education, CompTIA. “Manning’s story and career achievements are motivating and his perspective on how to become a champion in your own life will certainly resonate with our audience.”

Manning will share his insights – “How to Become a Champion in Your Own Life” – at ChannelCon on August 2.

ChannelCon Keynote Speakers Ready to Inspire Attendees

Themed “Breaking Boundaries,” ChannelCon 2016’s all-star line-up of keynote presenters also includes Nir Eyal, best-selling author of Hooked: How to Build Habit-Forming Products; Austin McChord, founder and CEO of Datto, Inc.; and Todd Thibodeaux, president and CEO, CompTIA.

During his keynote, Eyal will dive into the details around the “Hook Model” — a four-step process embedded into the products of many successful companies to subtly encourage customer behavior, and share how he successfully founded and exited two tech companies.

McChord will close out ChannelCon’s keynotes on August 3, talking about his journey from the basement to the billionaires club, and encouraging attendees to disrupt the status quo. A millennial and recent honoree of Forbes 30 Under 30 list, McChord was $80,000 in debt when he started Datto eight years ago in his parent’s basement. By 2015, McChord’s basement-born company was valued at a billion dollars, and became a member of the exclusive "unicorn" club.

“ChannelCon 2016 offers an amazing lineup of high-profile keynote speakers and accessible subject matter experts that channel partners, vendors and distributors can learn from and engage with,” said Amy Kardel, chairwoman of CompTIA’s Board of Directors and co-founder and director of IT services firm Clever Ducks. “CompTIA has raised the bar with ChannelCon, and continues to offer attendees the training, educational sessions, industry panels, keynotes, networking opportunities and working groups that matter most to the IT channel and really drive this industry forward.”
