Board will oversee and coordinate all CompTIA Policy Committees
WASHINGTON – CompTIA, the Computing Technology Industry Association, launches new Policy Executive Board (PXB), to serve as the coordinating body for CompTIA’s Public Advocacy. The Policy Executive Board (PXB) is composed of senior leaders from CompTIA’s corporate members and enterprise associates who oversee and coordinate CompTIA's policy committees. The mission of the PXB will be to ensure all policy committees are aware of policy positions and initiatives, seek consensus for those positions, and provide guidance on the growth and direction of CompTIA advocacy activities.
“Given today’s broad technology policy landscape, the Policy Executive Board is essential in bringing together leaders from our member organizations to help coordinate across our state, federal and international policy disciplines and aid us in maintaining a laser focus on policies that advance innovation and growth in the tech industry,” said Elizabeth Hyman, executive vice president for public advocacy. “We are extremely grateful to these able men and women for volunteering their time and effort to this important objective.”
The first meeting of the PXB is being held at CompTIA’s Annual Member Meeting in Chicago, IL on March 22nd. It will meet three times annually.
