Executive Vice President, Events and Education
As executive vice president of events and education, Kelly Ricker is responsible for setting the association's IT education and event strategies. She oversees the member education, events, and CompTIA Learning departments that are responsible for producing technical training and certification preparation courses, CompTIA's channel education products and live events, including the annual ChannelCon conference where more than 4,000 IT professionals and channel executives gather for business and training.
Before joining CompTIA, Ricker served as vice president of conferences for the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), where she was responsible for the registration department and the CTA/CES conferences department that produced the International CES keynotes and educational sessions, programs for CEA non-member communities, industry conferences, and special events. CES is the world's largest global technology tradeshow.
Ricker is an active volunteer and currently serves on the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) Board of Directors. She is a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where she majored in Public Relations.
