Kirk Robinson is the senior vice president of go-to-market for Ingram Micro U.S. In this role, he is responsible for the strategy and overall success of the company’s U.S. sales and marketing organizations, which includes the advanced solutions and consumer technology solutions business, commercial markets and global accounts, as well as Agency Ingram Micro.
Robinson is a celebrated Channel Chief and industry thought leader with more than two decades of business, marketing and sales experience in the IT channel. He reports to Paul Bay, executive vice president and president, Ingram Micro Americas.
In his relentless pursuit of excellence, Robinson has inspired and led several Ingram Micro initiatives, all of which have generated greater business value for channel partners and accelerated the IT leader’s success. These include the expansion of its vertical markets initiative and Promark GSA Schedule; the re-engineering and resulting record growth of Ingram Micro’s SMB business; and the development and expansion of the distributor’s proprietary Business Intelligence Center, which is now a global differentiator.
Robinson serves on the board of directors for CompTIA, the IT industry association, and for the Royal Family Kids Camp, a non-profit organization in Santa Ana, Calif. Born and raised in New York, he moved to the West Coast and earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from California State University, Long Beach.
Robinson has worked for Ingram Micro for more than two decades and enjoys spending his personal time with his family and friends. He is an avid stand-up paddle boarder and remains a die-hard fan of the New York Jets.
