Cynthia Johnson is Director of Government Relations for International Trade at Texas Instruments. She is primarily responsible for international trade policy development and legislation and regulatory changes that are relevant to TI’s worldwide operations. She has also expanded her range of issues to include export controls applied to semiconductor products and certain environmental issues. Cynthia joined Texas Instruments in 1998.
Prior to joining Texas Instruments, she was the legislative director to the Honorable Robert T. Matsui (5th CA). She began her Congressional service in 1993 when she served the Honorable Michael J. Kopetski (5th OR) as his legislative counsel for tax and human resource issues.
Cynthia received a J.D., cum laude, from Lewis & Clark Northwestern School of Law in 1992 and a B.A from Austin College in 1985.
