CompTIA is heavily involved with the development and support for the information communication technology (ICT) community in Australia. We are members in the National ICT Sector Advisory Committee for the ICT and Telecommunications Training Packages (ICA ’05 & ICT ’02). Our leading edge certifications such as A+, Network+, and Security+ etc are endorsed, recommended or mandated in many training and education programs across Australia. In 2007 Charles Sturt University (CSU) gave recognition for CompTIA certifications for full subject credit to their MBA programs. Excom Education use A+ as one of the key certifications in their ExpressIT™ program.
We will see in future growth for new products and services offerings. Skills such as convergence, RFID, Digital Home Technology will become more mainstream and we will be there is not only support in with our certification programs but promote and endorse these new technology’s thru our work with other associations and industry bodies across SE Asia.
