Richard Rysiewicz
Vice President, Services |
Richard Rysiewicz is vice president of services for the Computing
Technology Industry Association (CompTIA), the leading trade
association representing the business interests of the global
information technology (IT) industry.
Mr. Rysiewicz joined CompTIA in 1998 to spearhead the association’s
services section, which provides a forum and method for service
executives to communicate, resolve issues and set industry standards.
He is responsible for development of global standards in the
Services Executive Forum which in now active in the United States,
Canada, Europe, and South Africa; and he manages the Authorized
Service Center, Service Metric Benchmarking and Customer Service
Skills programs offered on an international basis.
Before joining CompTIA, Mr. Rysiewicz was owner/president of
Service Solutions, Inc., based in Colorado, a company that provides
technical training and management consulting specifically related
to IT businesses. Prior to starting Service Solutions, he started
a vertical market software company; was an executive consultant
at Intelligence Electronics; and managed a national service
business.
Mr. Rysiewicz is a recognized IT services industry expert who
speaks at events on IT service related topics, including service
management, channel processes, standards and customer service
areas of the IT industry. He received his BA and MBA in business
from the University of Colorado at Denver.
