The CompTIA Managed Print Services Community focuses on the creation of standards and initiatives specific to the managed print services industry. The group was created to provide networking opportunities among industry thought leaders, as well as to create beneficial tools and programs for managed print services providers.

The CompTIA Managed Print Services Community focuses on the creation of training and educational resources to improve managed print services industry. The group was created to provide networking opportunities among thought leaders, develop managed print services specific programs and tools, and generate member-driven initiatives.

Current member-driven initiatives

  • Define best practices for managed print services
  • Develop and refine foundational and advanced educational tracks for MPS providers
  • Form an online collaborative community for the MPS channel
  • Explore options for managed print services credentials and/or Trustmarks
  • Develop tools and templates for MPS providers
  • Develop an MPS survey to analyze the industry as a whole

Community News

MSP Partners Community Staff Leader

Corey Simpson is the MSP Partners Community manager for CompTIA, an experienced technology services professional and an avid IT channel advocate. He is responsible for facilitating meetings, organizing discussions and supporting group initiatives with CompTIA resources.

The Miami University (OH) graduate spent several years in a variety of roles at CDW and worked as an executive at Accenture before becoming a member of the association’s management team early in 2009. His project experience includes bank mergers, insurance application designs, infrastructure security solutions, and development of PMO framework to name a few. Simpson is a true Boy Scout (achieved the ultimate rank of Eagle) and enjoys soccer and sailing in his free time.
