What certifications do you have, and who are they geared for?
CompTIA certifications help to train and identify qualified, knowledgeable employees and match them with employers who have jobs to fill. How long is my membership good for?
Memberships are good for one year from the date that your membership payment is received by CompTIA.
What is the Breakaway event?
CompTIA Breakaway is the premier education event for the IT channel. In 2012, it will be held from July 30 through Aug. 2 in Las Vegas. Breakaway engages attendees in discussions on the latest technology business opportunities, industry educational topics and collaborative community sessions.
How many staff members can I send to CompTIA Breakaway as part of my membership?
Members receive unlimited registration passes for staff at the Annual Member Meeting and CompTIA Breakaway.
If I am a member, can I get a list of all the solution provider members?
Due to privacy concerns, CompTIA bylaws preclude distributing member contact lists. A comprehensive searchable member directory is available for members in the Member Resource Center.
What are the key benefits of being a vendor/distributor member?

Is there a minimum number of partners that need to attend a Channel Training Workshop?
There is a minimum of 30 attendees per session.
How do CompTIA Communities work?
CompTIA Communities allow channel thought leaders with common industry interests to participate in discussion groups, ask and search for answers to challenging issues, and explore topics that will make their businesses more successful. Community participants network via video conference and online monthly and meet at the Annual Member Meeting and Breakaway conferences.
What can I do with the research that is offered as part of my membership?
