E2C Programme Survey November 2008
A survey was recently sent out to the E2C community asking about the
benefits members are currently using, new benefits they would like to
see introduced and feedback on the content at the annual E2C Event. To
see the results, please click here.
We have already taken some feedback into account and will be announcing
some exciting new benefits and products at the 6th Annual E2C Event on
23rd & 24th April 2009 in Birmingham.
If
you are an E2C member and would like more information on the benefits
available to you, please contact Michelle Henderson, E2C Programme
Manager: mhenderson@comptia.org

Participate in the Public Sector IT Skills Benchmark Report
CompTIA is inviting public sector organisations
to be part of the first attempt to assess, gauge
and benchmark IT professional skills across the UK
public sector.
The results will form the 2008 report on UK Public
Sector IT Skills which will identify critical skills
gaps and allow public sector managers to compare
the IT skills levels of their own personnel against
industry averages.
CompTIA’s Skills Benchmark Assessment tool
is a confidential web-based approach that
-
Provides a quick and easy way of assessing the
IT skills levels of your staff;
-
Can be tailored to specific requirements;
-
Requires a minimum of 25 technical IT staff from
your organisation to participate.
To participate, please contact Michelle Henderson at mhenderson@comptia.org for further details.
CompTIA UK was the first European office to launch the Education to Careers
initiative, which now supports in excess of 230 members, made up of schools,
colleges, universities, charities and government training organisations.
This latest community is steered by an advisory group, made up of key representatives
from the education sector. This voice of the community understands the
constant demands on academia and helps steer CompTIA in the direction to
better serve their needs. The E2C National Event, held once a year, is
one such success story, as well as our “How to” guides, the
funding summary paper, and certification roadmap.
CompTIA’s membership also includes manufacturers, distributors,
resellers, solution providers, training organisations, e-commerce and telecomms
companies. CompTIA consistently offers all of its members access to industry
research, networking and partnering opportunities, best practices and developed
standards.
