Build your foundation.
Earning a CompTIA certification is a great way to start your career in the IT industry.
CompTIA is the leading provider of vendor-neutral IT certifications worldwide, and employers depend on CompTIA certifications to make hiring decisions. Earning certifications shows not only that you have the right knowledge and skills to do the job, but also that you are dedicated to your IT career. Many companies, including Microsoft, Ricoh, Lenovo and Cisco, recommend or require CompTIA certification programs.
Our entry-level certifications are CompTIA A+, for PC repair; and CompTIA PDI+, for maintenance of printers, scanners, faxes and copy machines.
How to Study
CompTIA accredits both training centers and training materials, including classes and courseware, to help you study for your certification exam. These materials and centers have been reviewed to ensure they accurately cover the information you need to know for CompTIA exams.
You can download CompTIA exam objectives and take practice tests.
How to Take the Test
Buy an exam voucher, and then register at one of our approved testing centers.
If your school participates in the Education to Careers program, you could be eligible for a $250 scholarship through our IT Merit Awards program. Talk to your teacher about nominations.
