Kelly Ricker 
As senior vice president of events and education for the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA), Ms. Ricker is responsible for setting the association’s IT channel education and event strategies and overseeing the department that is responsible for producing CompTIA's channel education products and live events, including the annual Breakaway conference where more than 1,100 channel executives gather for business and training.
Before joining CompTIA, Ms. Ricker served as vice president of conferences for the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), where she was responsible for the activities of the event registration department and CEA/International CES conferences department, including the International CES keynote productions and educational sessions, programs for CEA non-member communities, industry conferences, and special events. International CES – which wholly is owned and operated by CEA – is the world’s largest annual technology tradeshow and the largest North American tradeshow of any kind.
Ms. Ricker currently serves on the Corporate Event Marketing Association (CEMA) Industry Advisory Board and the Meeting Planners International (MPI) Membership Committee.
Ms. Ricker began her event-planning career at a corporate events firm in Washington, D.C. before transitioning into exhibit sales and tradeshow promotion at the American Sportfishing Association. Ms. Ricker is a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio where she majored in Public Relations.
