Fernando Quintero

Fernando Quintero is vice president of the Americas Channel Partner organization at McAfee. He is responsible for overseeing channel-related sales, programs, marketing and operations while driving continued growth in the SMB, commercial and public sector segments for more than 10,000 McAfee Security Alliance partners.

Quintero has been with McAfee since 2002 and has held key sales management positions, including Channel and Commercial Director for the Latin America region. During his tenure at McAfee, his team has made significant progress leveraging the channel community while driving the required consistency and predictability for a profitable and value-based partner ecosystem.

Quintero's IT channel expertise dates back more than 21 years. Prior to McAfee, he spent more than a decade in various sales and management positions at Compaq/Hewlett-Packard and Merisel. He has received numerous honors and recognitions from industry experts, including being named Channel Chief by CRN/Everything Channel and Channel Executive of the Year by Channel Insider. He also serves as Chairman of the Board for the Channel Vanguard Council.
