“Today’s marketplace presents customers with more options than ever for buying and using technology,” said Kelly Ricker, CompTIA’s senior vice president, events and education. “That’s great news for IT vendors and solution providers, but it’s accompanied by a major caveat.”

Day 1: Win New Business, Drive Revenue

If gaining new business and revenue is your idea of success, EMEA’s Wednesday lineup is a must. Vendors will have the opportunity to take part in CompTIA’s face-to-face Channel Management workshop on the first day of the conference. This Executive Certificate program lets those in channel management roles further develop the skills and knowledge needed to lead initiatives and investments that drive indirect sales revenue. Wednesday’s breakout sessions include getting the most out of CompTIA membership; entering new vertical markets; and enhancing partner relationships for vendors and distributors. 

Day 2: Plot Your Journey, Stick With It

Thursday’s keynote presentation, “Tomorrow’s Technology,” will be led by one of Britain’s best-known radio and television personalities, Maggie Philbin. As the cofounder and chief executive officer of TeenTech CIC, Philbin will share her insights on technology trends, the innovations impacting the industry and how companies can address IT workforce issues now and in the years ahead.

Thursday’s sessions then diverge to either the UK Channel or CAPP Certification. Those taking the UK Channel path will learn effective marketing strategies, how to apply for awards that will benefit your company and how to maximize your partnering opportunities.

The CAPP Certification track explores how CompTIA certifications address the current IT skill gaps, highlights various funding opportunities available in the UK and EU, and lets participants set the agenda in EMEA’s signature Unconference Roundtables.
